RISE practice test 2027
In Utah, the grades 3-8 test is the RISE, short for Readiness. Improvement. Success. Empowerment. Here’s what we could confirm about the 2027 test, and a free math practice set for each grade.

Free practice by grade
A set of math questions in the style of the RISE for each grade, in the online formats state tests use, marked as soon as it’s done.

- Who gives it
- Utah
- When
- Spring summative March 9 - June 4, 2027; each district uses 8 weeks inside that window.
Scores and results
When results come: Individual results reach the RISE Reporting System 24-48 hours after a test.
What’s changing
RISE now runs grades 3-10 (high school added, starting spring 2027), with optional fall and winter interims and benchmark modules, and a midyear summative option for Secondary Math I only.
Official practice
We haven’t found an official practice test to link to yet. Your child’s school can tell you where the state’s own practice is.
The sets here aren’t real RISE questions: Thena writes every one in code, in the style of the test, and never copies a state’s own.
