About AskThena
AskThena is made by Grepus Limited, a small company in London. Its teacher, Thena, gives children spoken lessons and draws each step as she explains it, the way their school teaches.

What Thena does
- She talks and draws
- Your child talks to Thena on a laptop or iPad. She explains one step at a time and draws each step on her board as she says it.
- The way their school does it
- Each step is set out the way their school sets it out, such as bus stop division in England and long division in the US.
- Until it makes sense
- When a child asks why, she explains it another way and draws it again.
- At their own level
- Each child has their own level in each subject, which you can see and change.
Lessons that follow the school year
- England: 544 topics
- From Reception to Year 11, following the National Curriculum. Each topic notes the year children usually meet it.
- The US: 639 topics
- From Pre-K to 10th grade, following Common Core for math and English and NGSS for science.
Kept safe
- Every message checked
- A second AI checks every message, and you get an email straight away if your child seems at risk.
- Every lesson to read
- You see each lesson word for word, and what Thena noticed. How lessons are kept safe
