Lessons grow with your child, from about 12 minutes at age 5 to 30 from age 11. So 3 hours is about 15 lessons a month for a 5-year-old, 10 for an 8-year-old and 6 for a 12-year-old.
Exam Prep
An add-on for gifted and talented tests (CogAT, NNAT and OLSAT) and the ISEE and SSAT. Add it to Solo or Family for each child who’s sitting one.

About paying
Do I need a card for the free lessons?
No. Create a family account, add your children and start. You choose a plan when the three free lessons are used.
Is the price for each child?
Solo is for one child, with 3 hours of lessons a month. Family covers up to 3 children, who share 6 hours, for $19 a month less than two Solo plans.
How far do 3 hours go?
Lessons grow with your child: about 12 minutes at 5 and 6, 18 at 7 and 8, and 30 from 11. So 3 hours is about 15 lessons a month at 5, 10 at 8 and 6 at 12. Replays and quick quizzes don’t count.
Why hours, and not unlimited?
Short, regular lessons are better for learning than long ones, and every minute costs us real money to teach and voice. A set amount of time keeps the price low for everyone.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month or year you’ve paid for, and doesn’t renew after that.
What happens to their badges if we stop?
They keep them. Badges, stars and transcripts are never taken away, and you can come back any time.
