The papers
One sitting at the school, marked in two stages. Mathematics (30 minutes) and Verbal Reasoning (30 minutes), multiple choice, set by GL Assessment and marked by machine; English (60 minutes: 30 minutes reading an extract and answering questions, 30 minutes creative writing), set and marked by the school. Only applicants ranked in the top 700 on maths and verbal reasoning have their English marked; the raw English score is then added and the results re-standardised by age. For 2028 entry the school proposes (consultation from 10 November 2026) to switch to Quest Assessments, with Mathematics, English Comprehension and English Writing sections.

When is the 11+ in Enfield?
The 2027 test: not published yet. The 2026 test: Thursday 3, Friday 4 or Saturday 5 September 2026 (one day each); a late test for registered applicants who are ill.
How do you register for the 11+ in Enfield?
For the 2027 test (2028 entry): not published yet. For the 2026 test (2027 entry): 12pm Tuesday 17 March 2026 to Tuesday 2 June 2026, on the school's online Supplementary Information Form; evidence for priority criteria by Tuesday 16 June 2026.
When do 11+ results come out in Enfield?
For the 2026 test: Maths and verbal reasoning results through Applicaa+ before the end of September 2026; re-standardised results including English for the top 700 emailed before the end of October 2026, with the likelihood of an offer.
What score qualifies in Enfield?
Applicants ranked below 700 on combined age-standardised maths and verbal reasoning are not eligible (top 900 for looked-after children and the Universal Credit or free school meals places). Only children living in the Inner Area postcodes listed in the policy are admitted (looked-after children excepted). PAN 192, in this order: looked-after and previously looked-after children (no limit); up to 20 with Universal Credit or free school meals; up to 20 music places (top 700, auditions at the school's discretion); then Inner Area residents in rank order. The next 50 form the waiting list, kept to 31 December.

Good to know
Late testing and moving to the area
A late test (date to be confirmed) for registered applicants who are ill, if the absence is emailed on the morning of the test; no registrations after the deadline. Later in-year vacancies go to Inner Area applicants tested in English and maths with the school's own written papers.
