Free 11+ mini-mock
A short 11+ practice paper in the multiple-choice style many tests use, with a mix of questions. Sit it at your own pace or against a 20-minute clock; it’s marked as soon as it’s finished, with every question missed beside its answer.

Sit the mini-mock
A new paper every time, marked when you finish. Nothing is kept.
Have paper and a pencil ready for working out.

After the mini-mock
The results show where the marks went and every question missed beside its answer. The slip matters more than the score: go over each one together, and try one like it.
With an account, Thena does that part. She puts each question your child got wrong back on her board, finds the slip and works it through with them out loud, then gives them one like it to do alone.
With Exam Prep, Thena sets practice papers in your child’s test’s style and goes over every mistake with them on her board: £49 a month with the Solo plan.
Your child’s real test
Every area’s 11+ is different: some are English and maths only, some add verbal and non-verbal reasoning, and a few have written answers. Check which papers your child will sit, and how long each one is.
Questions about the mini-mock
Is this the real 11+?
No. It’s practice in the multiple-choice style many 11+ tests use, with new questions every time. Every area’s test is different, so check yours: the papers, the timings and what’s in them.
What happens to the answers?
Nothing is kept. The paper is marked in your browser as soon as it’s finished, and the results show every question missed beside its answer.
How often should my child sit a mock?
Not often at the start. Learning the kinds of question first, with no clock, does more than paper after paper. Timed papers help most in the last few months, and going over the mistakes afterwards matters more than the score.
Thena goes over every mistake with them
After each practice paper she works through what they got wrong on her board, out loud, until they see the slip for themselves.
